Day 4 of the 22nd World Aquatics Championships in Singapore was a busy one for Team Oceania Aquatics, with Pacific Island swimmers competing in 16 races: 13 individual events and 3 relays across five disciplines.
A standout moment came in the Men’s 100m Freestyle, where athletes from seven nations lined up in a single event, showcasing the strength and depth of regional talent.
Across the day, swimmers delivered an impressive 9 personal bests, 3 National Records, and 1 Age Group (15–16) record. Many of these achievements came from some of the youngest athletes in the competition.
These latest results bring the running total to 25 personal bests and a bold 10 national records for the Pacific nations – a powerful reflection of the region’s growing presence on the world stage.
